On December 10, 2012, the work exchange meeting on the demonstration bases under China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGEF) was held in China Hall of Science and Technology in Beijing and presided by Hu Zhaoguang, the Executive Vice-chairman. Hu Jiaming, the Deputy General Manager of China Hyway Group Limited and the General Manager of Jiangsu People’s Ecological Development and Construction Co., Ltd. attended this meeting. Hu Deping, the Chairman of CBCGEF attended the meeting and made an important speech, requiring each demonstration base to develop properly based on the spirit of ecological and civilized society development in the report to the 10th National Congress and take a good leading role. The representatives from 33 demonstration bases under CBCGEF gathered here, made active speeches and mutually exchanged their experience. In the meeting agenda, the representatives were arranged to visit Beijing Demonstration Base.

On December 16, 2012, workers were busy with construction in Zone C of JOUF University Hospital Project of Saudi Arabia Branch. Two pump trucks with 50 meters of operating range were used to pour concrete into excavation and over 10 concrete-pouring vehicles were used to guarantee the constant supply of concrete. Foundation pad concrete operation started at 08:00 and ended at 17:00, which is a milestone of construction.

At 9:30 on January 9, 2013, headed by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, the review group, including Academician Jin Jianming of Chinese Academy of Engineering (third from left), Academician Hong Deyuan of Chinese Academy of Science (second from left), Academician Fu Bojie of Chinese Academy of Science (fourth from left) and relevant experts and professionals, verified Feasibility Report of Zhenjiang Xinminzhou Wetland Conservation and Ecological Restoration issued by Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences at Beijing Hall of Science and Technology. Hu Jiaming, General Manager of Jiangsu Peoples Ecological Development and Construction Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

On January 11,2013, Detailed Planning on Xinminzhou Urban Design and Control Expert Review Meeting was convened under organization of the People’s Government of Jingkou District, Zhenjiang City and Zhenjiang City Planning Bureau. The expert panel headed by Professor Kong Linglong from the Southeast University consists of Gu Chunping, Deputy Director General of the Changzhou City Planning Bureau, Sha Zhenzhen, Director of the Zhenjiang City Planning Commission Office, Zhu Fukun, Executive Deputy Director of Zhenjiang City Planning Bureau and other members. Through careful review, the panel considered that the Planning fundamentally conformed to actual and future development demand of Xinminzhou and thus, approved the Planning.

China Hyway Group Limited has convened “2013 work meeting of China Hyway Group Limited” in Suzhou Lakeside Hotel Conference Center on February 24, 2013.

On March 18, the 7th Meeting of the 4th Council of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGEF) was convened in the Beijing Planetarium. In the meeting, the Council’s annual work report was delivered and relevant resolutions were deliberated and adopted. President of the Council Hu Deping also delivered an important speech in the meeting. Besides, Liu Daiwen, Chairman of the Group Company & council member of the CBCGDF attended the meeting and exchanged views on building Xinminzhou Demonstration Base.

From April 28 to May 1, 2012, Chinese ambassador in Angola Mr. Gao Kexiang and his wife went on a field trip to Huila Province and Namibe Province in South Angola, accompanied by two counselors— Xia Xiaoling and Zhang Aihai. During the trip, the Group inspected Mocamedes Railway built by China Hyway Group Limited and Lubango and Namibe social settlement house project by CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., took the train personally traveling partial section of Mocamedes Railway and visited major railway stations of Mocamedes Railway, including Lubango Railway Station, Namibe Railway Station, Sacumar, etc.

From July 18 to July 21, the Group Company held the 2013 Fresh Graduates Induction Training in Vienna Hotel, Suzhou.

July 16, 2013 saw the opening of the 30th FILDA. 1,003 enterprises from 36 countries participated in the event. China has set up a national pavilion which extends an area of 3,000m2 and accommodates 160 booths. 40 China-funded enterprises at home and from Angola were attracted.

At 10:30., August 15, Li Xuerong, Chief Engineer from Hyway International Building Project Implementation and Management Department of Suzhou Ding Ming Real Estate Co., Ltd., expressed solicitude to construction staff from Hyway International Building Project Department of Nantong No.4 Construction Group Co. Ltd. on behalf of the company. He thanked them for sticking in their posts regardless of the high temperature and for their efforts to ensure smooth implementation of the project and then distributed towers, mineral water, soaps and other living articles. The construction staff were inspired and promised that they would do their best to complete the Hyway International Building Project in a safe and high-quality manner.
