On July 18, 2019, "Concert of Legend Laluan Sutera Maritim" to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia was held at the Grand Theatre of the Basha State Government Administrative Center in Malaysia. Musicians from China and Malaysia presented a symphony feast with a combination of Chinese and Western culture.

Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri and his wife, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Mohd Shafie bin Haji Apdal and his wife, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment YB.Datuk Christina Liew, Vice Chief Minister YB Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Madius Tangau, Vice Chief Minister YB Datuk Haji Jaujan Bin Sambakong and the government ministers of Sabah, the state legislators, the leaders of various Chinese organizations, Chinese-funded enterprises and representatives of foreign students, and more than 1,000 representatives from all walks of life attended the concert. As one of the sponsors of the concert, China Hyway Group Limited. was invited to attend. Wang Jing, executive deputy general manager of Malaysia Branch, and employee representatives also attended the concert.

The concert was jointly hosted and performed by Claudia Yang, the famous Chinese female pianist in Malaysia, and international art director of the International Cultural Exchange Center of the Xinyi Culture Silk Road, Claudia Yang, together with Guangxi Symphony Orchestra led by Lin Tao who is the professor of the Central Conservatory of Music of China, and the artistic director and the chief conductor of the Russian Kemerovo Symphony Orchestra.

This concert is the second performance of the Malaysian tour. The masters entered the Grand Theatre of the Basha State Government Administrative Center for the first time. The masters played the piano concerto of Dream of Red Mansions, a key project of the national art foundation of China, and initiated the cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia. The concert commemorates the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia with a classic symphonic work featuring the cultural characteristics of the two countries and the characteristics of Guangxi ethnic minorities.
