News of China Hyway Group Limited Ethiopia Road Project Company On August 7, 2011, trial section of Bituminous Pavement of Gedo-Nekemte Road Project of China Hyway Group Limited Ethiopia Road Project Company was successfully paved, which indicates that that final main work of Ethiopia Road Project with the highest technical content allows large-scale construction and a solid step is taken for realization of expected completion target.

     In order to ensure immediate success of trial section of Bituminous Pavement of Gedo-Nekemte Road Project, China Hyway Group Limited Ethiopia Road Project Company has formed a special leading group on June 5, 2011, made specific arrangement for relevant responsibilities, on-site coordination, etc. and requested that the bituminous mixing ratio test and paving of the trail section be completed before the end of rainy season. Through joint efforts of personnel from Ethiopian Roads Authority, supervision unit, asphalt mixing station, test room, etc., it only took two months to complete the test and pavement of 100m trail section was completed on August 5, 2011. According to inspection on the paving result, bituminous concrete mixing ratio, compactness, thickness and other indicators meet the specifications and such bituminous concrete can be used in subsequent construction. China Hyway Group Limited Ethiopia Road Project Company organized a celebration ceremony at the construction site. Wu Dabing, General Manager of the group company, Guo Xiqing & Ding Weisheng, leaders from China Hyway Group Limited Ethiopia Road Project Company and other related personnel attended the ceremony.
