News of Tianjin Oubaiwei Corp., Ltd.  On the morning of May 18, 2011, Tianjin Meeting of Second China-Europe Political Parties Forum jointly organized by International Department, Central Committee of CPC and Tianjin Municipality was held in Tianjin hotel. Our company, as China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Branch and Vice-chairman unit of CCOIC Tianjin Chamber of Commerce, was invited to the meeting.

    The meeting was presided over by Li Jinjun, Vice-minister of International Department, Central Committee of CPC. Both China and Europe made candid and in-depth exchanges during the forum and reached a consensus on fulfilling and enhancing comprehensive strategic partnership between the two sides, exploring what is intersected or complementary in development strategies of both sides, maintaining China-Europe cooperation and promoting mechanism of China-Europe Political Parties Forum. The two sides initially agreed that Europe will organize the second meeting of the forum in Brussels in the second half of this year so that the two sides can continue deep conversation on China-Europe relations, international economy and other common concerns.

    Martin Schulz, President of Group of the Socialists in the European Parliament, delivered a conclusive speech in the forum. Martin Schulz said that China and Europe political parties have made high-level dialogue and expanded new channels of deep communication. He hoped that the two sides deepen pragmatic cooperation in different fields, enhance economy and trade communication and promote exchanges between China and Europe political parties and long-term development of China—Europe friendship. Major leaders, including Rudolf Albert Scharping, Former President of SPD, Algirdas Butkevičius, President of LSDP, Artis Kampars, Minister of Latvian Ministry of Economy, He Lifeng, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Ma Xiuhong, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPPCC National Committee & Former Vice-minister of the Ministry of Commerce, respectively delivered a speech in the forum. Li Jinjun, Vice-minister of International Department, Central Committee of CPC, delivered a closing keynote address and declared closing of the forum.

    Nearly 200 people attended this meeting, including persons in charge of relevant ministries and commissions of the P.R.C., leaders of 31 political parties from 19 European countries, 1 European regional party and 5 political party groups in Europe Parliament and European business representatives. Persons in charge and entrepreneur representatives from Tianjin also participated in the event.
