News of China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company  With a huge noise at 10:18 of May 23, 2011, Giraul Bridge was successfully exploded. The railway bridge destructed by flood in March 2011 not only interrupts the railway section from Namibe to Lubango but also greatly affects construction progress of Mocamedes Railway Project. Thus, Ministry of Transport of Angola decided to re-build a 15-arch bridge 16m long and contract the project to China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company via supplementary contract requiring completion at the end of 2011.

     In order to earn time for reconstruction of the bridge, China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company exploded Giraul bridge. TPA, Jornal de Angola, Namibe radio station and other media reported explosion of the bridge and Wei Ruihai, General Manager of China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company, accepted interview on the explosion site. Namibe radio station adopted rolling news broadcast on whole explosion process of the bridge on the same day.
