     Minister Emanuela Vieira Lopes and Governor of Cunene Province were inquiring design and construction of intake head of the water source.

    News of China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company On June 9, 2011, Ms. Emanuela Vieira Lopes, Minister of Ministry of Energy and Water of the Republic of Angola, inspected the construction site of xangongo water plant of Ondjiva Water Diversion Project under progress, accompanied by Governor and Vice-governor of Cunene Province, Director of the Water Conservancy Bureau, Mayor of xangongo, Ondjiva, hydraulic experts, senior advisory board, Spanish investor and designer and staff from supervision unit.

   More than 20 government officials led by the Minister as well as journalists walked to inspect construction site of xangongo water plant, especially the project site, concrete premixing station, cement bunker, water inlet, etc. The minister said that she is satisfied with the project progress and believes that China Hyway Group Limited can fulfill the project. She also encouraged all related units for implementation of Ondjiva Water Diversion Project to finish the construction task of the section assigned to them as early as possible.
