    By Wang Bingfei, Xinhua Luanda August 24 Zhong An Lei Jun Construction Co., Ltd. (Zhong An Lei Jun) registered by China Hyway Group Limited in Angola held the seeing-off ceremony in Luanda on August 24 and saw off 30 funded Angolan youths to go to China for study.   
    Over 150 people including officials from the Angolan Government, Ambassador Gao Kexiang from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Angola, Counselor Xia Xiaoling from the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office, friends and relatives of international students, etc. attended this seeing-off ceremony, after which these students took the bus directly to Luanda International Airport and then flew to Xiamen, China to attend the entrance ceremony of Jimei University.

    Wei Ruihai, Vice-president of Marketing of China Hyway Group Limited, said in the ceremony that since entry to Angola in 2007, Zhong An Lei Jun is always upholding the philosophy of “mutual improvement and development” and its businesses have covered a plenty of fields including railway, construction, international trade, etc.; in the project construction, Zhong An Lei Jun hires and cultivates a large number of Angolan people; it co-initiates a talent cultivation project with the Ministry of Transport of Angola, in which it is planned to invest USD  2 million to fund the Angolan youths to go to Jimei University for five years’ study. 

    As introduced by Wei Ruihai, these Angolan youths will receive the Chinese language training in Xiamen in the first year of their study and then study the computer or international trade in the subsequent four years. He said that he hopes they could achieve their academic excellence and become the pillars of society for Angola’s development and economic growth, as well as the witness of Sino-Angolan friendship.            Commercial Counselor Xia Xiaoling said that China and Angola have a good political relation and a close ecological relation and that to express China-invested enterprises’ friendship to Angola and carry forward the management philosophy of mutual benefit and win-win, the Chamber of Commerce of China-invested enterprises in Angola initiated the activity of “Love to Angola-Return to the Local Society” and a large number of China-invested enterprises responded to it. After Zhong An Lei Jun funded the international students from Angola, the Chamber of Commerce will donate a batch of stationary to FESA, China Jinxin International Company will fund the international students from Angola to go to China for study, and Mark Industrial Corporation jointly invested by China and Angola will build a primary school accommodating more than 300 students in Huambo Province in the middle part of Angola.
