On May 21, 2014, the commencement ceremony of Angola Menonge Port and National Oil Company Railway Branch Line Project was grandly held. Governor Higino Carneiro and other provincial and ministerial officials of Kuando Province, Director Daniel João Quipaxe and other officials of Mocamedes Railway Bureau, and Tribal Chief of Kuando Province attended the commencement ceremony. 

     In the morning on the very day, our delegation led by Fang Changlu, Deputy General Manager of Zhong An Lei Jun Construction Co., Ltd. and Project Manager of Mocamedes Railway Reconstruction Project, and Director Daniel João Quipaxe and other officials of Mocamedes Railway Bureau came to the commencement ceremony site decorated with colorful flags; local people festively singing and dancing greeted them in the most joyous way. At 10:10 am, Director Daniel João Quipaxe and other officials of Mocamedes Railway Bureau arrived at the site, upon which it was filled with cheers and excitement. After the commencement ceremony formally started, António Cabral, Technical Director of Mocamedes Railway Bureau firstly made a brief introduction to the railway branch line project to the present guests. Then, Fang Changlu, our Deputy General Manager, formally signed a contract with Director Daniel João Quipaxe, following the applauses for congratulations from all guests. After the contract was signed, Governor Higino Carneiro, with other officials, came to the construction site and started the excavator for the project ground-breaking ceremony in person, following the gun salutes and a scene of great rejoicing. When interviewed, Governor Higino Carneiro said this railway branch line will have an active influence on the local economic development and livelihood and he hopes our company to fully carry forward Chinese businesses’ diligence and high-efficiency traditions to complete this project as soon as possible. In the end, Governor Higino Carneiro and our leaders had a toast to the success of the commencement ceremony.
