On August 25, 2010, José Eduardo dos Santos, President of Angola, Augusto da Silva Tomás, Transport Minister, José Kuvíngua, Transport Vice-minister, Julio Bango Joaquim, Director of National Institute of Railways of Angola, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira, Governor of Kuando Kubango Province, Daniel Quipaxe, Director of Mocamedes Railway Bureau and other provincial and ministerial officials constituting a delegation of more than 100 people attended the cutting-ribbon ceremony of Menonge Station (a special-level station) built by China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company.

    At 11:15am on the morning of August 25, the delegation arrived at the square of Menonge Station and the audience cheered and applauded, inspiring the atmosphere of scene to a high level.
