A good omen appears in the lunar year of dragon, Chinese glorious image highlights the spring. On February 8, 2012, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Hyway Hongtian Building was grandly held. Shao Xuegeng, the Director of Xiangcheng District People’s Congress Standing Committee, Dai Xinggen, a member of Xiangcheng District Standing Committee and the Executive Deputy Head of Xiangcheng District, Zhang Kai, the Deputy Secretary of Xiangcheng District Discipline Inspection Committee and the Director of Xiangcheng District Supervisory Bureau, Gu Quanrong, the Director Xiangcheng District Bureau of Commerce, Xu Xiaofang, the Deputy Director General of Xiangcheng District Development and Reform Committee and the Director of Service Industry Office, Wang Zhiqing, the Deputy Director General of Xiangcheng District Economy and Informatization Bureau, Li Zhiyuan, the Secretary of Party Working Committee of Yuanhe Street, Shen Xueping, the Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee of Yuanhe Street and the Director of Yuanhe Street Office, Wang Jinfang, the Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee of Yuanhe Street and the Director of NPC Working Committee of Yuanhe Street, Zheng Jialiang, the Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee of Yuanhe Street, the Director of CPPCC Working Committee of Yuanhe Street and the Director of Investment Attracting Center of Yuanhe Street, Fu Guohua, a member of Party Working Committee of Yuanhe Street and the Deputy Director of Investment Attracting Center of Yuanhe Street; Yang Shuiqing, the Executive Deputy General Manager of the group company, Wang Jing and Zhang Zhenhan, the Deputy Chief Engineers of the group company, attended this ceremony.

    Yang Shuiqing delivered a welcoming address and introduced the basic information of the project, saying that Hyway Hongtian Building is a novel building which blends the Chinese traditional architecture characteristics and the international modern design concepts, and consists of three parts including the office area, the business hotel and the commercial facility. The main structure has three underground stories and 32 on-ground stories, at a building height of 145.2m and at an overall floorage of about 94316m2. It is planned to complete and put it into use in 2014.

    Dai Xinggen made a speech on the ceremony on behalf of Xiangcheng District leaders, and expressed his great congratulations to the foundation stone laying of Hyway Hongtian Building, saying that Hyway Hongtian Building will become a landmark in the central business district and be conductive to further promoting the architecture taste of the central business district and the city image. For its function positioning, Hyway Hongtian Building will become another bustling commercial center of Xiangcheng District, and greatly facilitate the development of surrounding supporting facilities and economy, so all related departments will strengthen the services and fulfill the high-quality projects so as to make more contributions to the urban construction of Xiangcheng District.
