Exploring a Low-Carbon Future with Quality Projects: Greenverse Environment Tech Comprehensive Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant
Hyway Group (Malaysia) SDN. BHD. was established in September 2014 in Sabah, Malaysia, and holds G7 qualifications in the country. The company primarily undertakes industrial and civil construction projects, including roads, railways, bridges, and water conservancy. In 2024, the company achieved a breakthrough in green transformation by investing in the Greenverse Environment Tech Comprehensive Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant in Terengganu, Malaysia, which has an annual processing capacity of 500,000 tons of industrial waste oil. This project received support from the Bank of China and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, adopting a model of 'cross-border RMB financing + Chinese technology and equipment + integrated investment and operation' to provide full-chain hazardous waste resource services for the local petrochemical industry, including 'collection - treatment - recycling.' The first phase of the project was put into operation in June 2024, providing solutions for Malaysia's low-carbon, circular economic development model.
