Leaders of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation Tianjin Branch Visited the Malaysian Greenverse Environment Technology Project for Inspection and Exchange

On March 16, 2025, Li Xiuping, the Party Secretary and General Manager of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Tianjin Branch, along with Song Dongying, the Office Director and Head of Business Department II, and Yang Jiaxing, Assistant Director of the Project Insurance Business Department, visited the site of the Malaysian Greenverse Environment Tech Integrated Scheduled Waste Treatment Plant Project for investigation. Chairman Liu Daiwen, Vice President Si Xubin, and Deputy Director of Finance and Asset Management Department Yun Fei of the Group Company, along with CEO Wang Xiguang and Deputy CEO Huang Haiqing of GREENVERSE HOLDING SDN. BHD, accompanied the leaders throughout the discussion and exchange.

The project leader Wang Xiaopeng reported on the construction progress and promised that the Phase I Project Construction would be fully completed by the end of May. CEO Wang Xiguang reported on the project's development plan, business goals, and matters related to business expansion.

Secretary Li Xiuping congratulated the project's phase progress and stated that the project is a benchmark for“small and beautiful projects”and“RMB going abroad”. It signifies a significant step made by Hyway Group in comprehensive energy utilization and green development. Additionally, it showcases the successful practice of Sinosure in fully leveraging the role of policy-based export credit insurance to support private enterprises in integrating into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Secretary also emphasized that the successful implementation of the project will help promote the green, low-carbon, and sustainable development of the local economy and hoped that Hyway Group will continue to uphold the environmental protection concept, improve economic efficiency, and shape its brand image. She also stated that Sinosure Tianjin Branch will actively provide risk guarantee and financing facility support to assist the project's development throughout its entire lifecycle.

Chairman Liu Daiwen required the project construction team to advance the closure of Phase I works as planned, ensure the completion of the target task of trial production in June, and start the preparatory work for Phase II of the project at the same time, striving to start the construction of Phase II in early Q4 this year; he also required the on-site financial team in Malaysia to cooperate with the Group's Finance and Asset Management Department to develop a financing plan, thus ensuring the smooth progress of the project.

The Chairman expressed deep gratitude for the support provided by Sinosure Tianjin Branch and Bank of China for the Greenverse Environment Technology Project, and asked that the entire group should fully utilize the company's resources in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative to carry out cooperation in a wider range of fields and more channels, and jointly promote the implementation of more high-quality projects.
