Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future
On September 5, 2024, the Beijing Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, themed "Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future", opened grandly at the Great Hall of the People. Chairman Liu Daiwen and President Hu Jiaming of the Group Company were invited to attend the opening ceremony.
This summit is the largest home-field diplomatic event hosted by China in recent years, with the most foreign leaders in attendance. President Xi Jinping presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech, announcing that bilateral relations between China and all African countries having diplomatic ties with China be elevated to the level of strategic relations and that the overall characterization of China-Africa relations be elevated to an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.
