Vice President Hu Jiaming Attends 2nd China-LAC Infrastructure Forum

On June 2, 2016, the 2nd China-LAC Infrastructure Forum was held in Macao, China. Hu Jiaming, Vice President of the Group Company, and Li Jun, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Division attended this forum. The total number of forum attendees exceeded 1,400, with 65 domestic and international delegations participating. Among them, there were 15 delegations from developed countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, France, and Spain; 48 delegations from international organizations, industry associations, and provincial and municipal commerce authorities; over 600 enterprises from more than 60 countries and regions represented by forum guests, covering the upstream and downstream industry chains of the infrastructure industry. Additionally, 46 ministerial-level guests from 36 countries and regions, as well as executives from over 50 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, attended this forum.

This forum received a positive response from the countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). 15 LAC countries sent delegations to attend the forum for theme forums, promotion meetings, seminars, and matchmaking meetings. Vice President Hu Jiaming had an in-depth exchange with the guests on how Chinese and LAC enterprises can better complement each other and achieve coordinated development in infrastructure and production capacity cooperation.
