News from China-Africa Business Council — On November 8, Liu Daiwen, Vice President of the China-Africa Business Council and Chairman of China Hyway Group Limited, visited the China-Africa Business Council to guide work. President Zheng Yuewen, representing the Secretariat, extended a warm welcome to him. President Liu listened to the recent work report of the Secretariat and learned about the business development of Hong Kong-based Creat Fund Management Company Limited. He affirmed the Secretariat's efforts and hoped that the Council would strengthen its services in identifying business opportunities, project matching, bank credit granting, and financial support. Currently, China Hyway Group Limited has nearly 10,000 Chinese and African employees in Africa. On August 20 this year, the 1,003-kilometer railway constructed by the company was officially delivered to Angola, with the President of Angola personally cutting the ribbon.
