Minister of Mines and Petroleum of Ethiopia Meets with Mr. Liu Daiwen, Chairman of China Hyway

News from Ethiopian Company — On November 30, 2009, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum of Ethiopia, Mr. Alemayehu Tegenu, warmly met with Mr. Liu Daiwen, the Chairman of China Hyway Group Limited in his office.

 Liu first conveyed the purpose of his visit: firstly, to seek extensive cooperation between China Hyway Group Limited and Ethiopia in the mining and other sectors, and secondly, to extend his regards to the builders of the Gedo-Nekemte Road project.

 Alemayehu expressed high appreciation for this and warmly welcomed Liu and his delegation to Ethiopia. He stated that the achievements of China Hyway Group Limited in Africa are well-recognized and expressed hope that the company could achieve even greater development in Africa.
