Most of China-Africa projects or cooperation were people’s livelihood-based projects in the past. Taking Tanzania as an example, Chinese investment in Tanzania from 1990 to 2013 accounts for 15% of its foreign direct investment; the investment in manufacturing accounts for the highest proportion, the total number of manufacturing projects are 354 with a total value over $1.25 billion, creating many employment opportunities in Tanzania.

    Many international figures affirm the significance of China-Africa cooperation and Chinese reform practice to African development when they discuss African economic transformation and development. Romano Prodi, Former Prime Minister of Italy, thought that China-Africa cooperation changes African economic conditions and other big powers attitudes towards Africa and substantially improves Africa’s international status. Kako Nubukpo, Officer from the Republic of Togo, said China-Africa cooperation not only improves African infrastructure but also provides Africa with valuable intellectual support. Over the years, many students from Togo have studied in China and brought advanced science knowledge back to Togo, which is of significance to the long-term development of economy in Togo. Besides, Togo and other African countries should learn from China’s great achievements in reform and opening up and experiences in advancing industrialization. 

   It’s not hard to see that Africa is becoming the new growth pole of world economy and plays a more than more important role in international game. All countries around the world, including China, developed countries or developing ones, pay great attention to the future of Africa.
