Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Beijing on September 3, 2018. Mr. Liu Daiwen, Chairman of Hyway Group, took part in the High-Level Dialogue Between Chinese-African Leaders and Business Representatives & Sixth Conference of Chinese-African Entrepreneurs on invitation on behalf of the Group.

President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote address at the opening ceremony and pointed out that China is willing to strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Africa to make a high-quality development path that is suitable for the national conditions, inclusive and beneficial to all and is with mutual benefit and win-win results so as to bring better life for all people, as well as hopes that Chinese-African entrepreneurs,  as the bridge between China and Africa, take a long-term perspective, seized opportunities, bear the responsibilities, respect local culture and cultivate enterprise reputation. Hyway Group always follows the development concept of “cultivate friendship when doing business and conducting projects” initiated by President Xi at the Summit; the Mocaomedes Railway, NAIL by-line, the five multi-functional stations and other projects, as the key projects of China-Africa Friendly Cooperation and Belt and Road Initiative, obtained widespread recognition and support from the Angola government and the public.

In order to advance the education and culture exchange between China and Angola, Hyway Group responded to China’s call of “university–industry cooperation”, jointly established “Jimei University-China Hyway International Program” with Jimei University in 2014 and funded 32 outstanding Angola youth to study in China, making an contribution to promote the friendship between China and Angola.

The Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation boosts the confidence of Chinese enterprise going global; “Chinese Dream” and “African Dream” are not only linked but also go forward together! Chairman Liu Daiwen said that Hyway Group will understand the China-Africa Strategic Development Planning in an all-directional and multi-professional manner to make contribution to the rapid development and economic growth of Africa and the long-term friendship between China and Africa.
