On August 18, 2019, Serbian time, the 3rd, 4th and 5th bid sections of the Serbian E763 Highway Project, which was undertaken by Shandong Foreign Economics Group and was constructed by China Hyway Group Limited, started to be in transportation. This is the first landing infrastructure project in the cooperation framework of China-Central and Eastern European countries, but it is also the first highway that Chinese companies have built in Europe! The Serbian Government held a grand operation-starting ceremony. Serbian President Vučić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Mikhailovich, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo and several officials from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, President of the Group Company Hu Jiaming, and Deputy Chief Engineer Wang Moguang attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was broadcast live by Serbian national television.

The E763 highway project is a key project of the Serbian government, to which the Chinese and Serbian governments have always attached great importance. The Serbian E763 highway is about 300 kilometers long throughout and connects Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to the border town of Bijelo Polje, the Republic of Montenegro. It is an important part of the Pan-European No.11 corridor. China Hyway Group Limited participated in the construction of the third and fifth bid sections of the project, with a total length of 50.2 kilometers, a design speed of 130 km/h and two-way four-lane. Since 2013, after nearly six years, China Hyway Group Limited has overcome the difficulties and made the project successfully in service through the unremitting efforts and hard work of all project staff. China Hyway Group Limited also submitted to Party A, project owners and the Serbian government a satisfactory answer, marking the successful completion of the first project of China Hyway Group Limited's Central and Eastern European markets! This is the pride of every Hyway people!

At the opening ceremony, Hu Jiaming, the President of the Group Company, cordially conveyed his greetings to the employees of the construction project and thanked them for their contributions to the project. President Hu emphasized that the employees of the project company should continue to stick to their posts and do the remained work of the project. He also hoped that the project company would continue to study and implement the important spirit of President Xi Jinping's high-quality joint construction of the “The Belt and Road”, strengthen confidence, build consensus, promote the sustainable and healthy development of the group companies in the Central and Eastern European markets, and continuously make greater contribution for local development.
