On September 12, TEDA Administrative Commission and China Hyway Group Limited co-held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement on investment and Xu Hongxing, the Director of TEDA (Nangang Industrial Zone) Administrative Commission and the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group, met with Liu Daiwen, Chairman of China Hyway Group Limited, and other officers of the company. Lang Dong, Deputy Director of TEDA (Nangang Industrial Zone) and Jia Shouyue, Deputy Inspector, were present during the meeting and the signing ceremony.

On October 25, 2013, the delegation, including Angola’s Minister of Transport—Augusto da Silva Tomás, President of Angola Academy of Railway Sciences, Governor of Namibe Province, Head of Mocamedes Railway Bureau—Daniel Quipaxel and other provincial officials cut the ribbons for Bridge Iravul,Mirapraia,Munhino,Garganta,Humbia,Nangombestations built by China Hyway Group Limited Mocamedes Railway Project Company.

China Hyway Group Limited convened “2014 work meeting of China Hyway Group Limited” in Suzhou on January 28, 2014. Attendees include senior management of the Group Company, persons in charge of different functional departments of the Group Company, members of leading group from all foreign subsidiaries, general management and professionals from Suzhou office of general headquarters. In the meeting, senior management of the Group Company made annual work report; leaders of the Group Company declared the second Five-Year Development Plan of the Group Company, decision on adjusting organizational structure of the Group Company, decision on division of labor of president and management and execution level of the Group Company, etc.; and Chairman Liu Daiwen signed the 2014 Objective Responsibilities of President and Staff at Management and Executive Level with all related presidents and staff at management and executive level and delivered the Annual Work Report of China Hyway Group Limited.

On the morning of April 29, 2014, the Launching Ceremony of China SME (Jingkou) Headquarters Base was held at the Business Center of our company. Li Zibin, Chairman of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Zhang Jingqiang, Vice Chairman of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Wei Xiangqun, Deputy Inspector of Small and Medium Enterprises Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Zhou Yibiao, Deputy Director of Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, leaders of Zhenjiang City and Jingkou District, attended it; Chairman Liu Daiwen and General Manager Hu Jiaming participated in it at the invitation; Chairman Liu Daiwen, as the major guest, pressed the ceremony launching ball with other present leaders.

On May 7, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang and his wife, Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other leaders had a cordial meeting with the leaders of China-invested enterprises; Mr. Wu Dabing, Executive Vice President-Marketing of China Hyway Group Limited and General Manager of China Hyway Group Limited (Ethiopian Branch) attended the meeting. They took a group photo.

Upon invitation of Angola President Dos Santos, Premier Li Keqiang arrived at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport by a special plane on the afternoon of May 8 (local time) and began his official visit to Angola. Mme Cheng Hong, the wife of Premier Li Keqiang, accompanied. Senior government officials led by Angola Vice President Vicente greeted them at the airport, as well as Ambassador Gao Kexiang from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Angola.

On the morning of May 9 (local time), Premier Li Keqiang met Angola President Dos Santos in the Angolan Presidential Office Building.

On May 8, 2014, the 5th International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum was inaugurated in Macao. Diao Chunhe, Chairman of China International Contractors Association, and Su Tianping, Director of Economic Services Bureau under Macao SAR Government, respectively delivered a welcome on behalf of the forum organizer. Zhang Xiangchen, Assistant Minister of Commerce, Stjepan Mesic, Former President of Croatia, Stephen Hammond, Vice Transport Minister of Britain, Denys Denya, Executive Vice President of Afreximbank, John M.Scott, Vice Chairman of KPMG International, etc. made speeches in respect of the forum topic of “interconnection providing a new power for international infrastructure cooperation”.
